First time here. Went for a late lunch and only one other customer was eating. Ordered egg roll and Emperors chicken. I think egg roll was very good. It was crunchy and filled with cabbage. Emperors chicken was chunks of what seemed to be white meat chicken and lots of veggies with fried rice. Taste was ok, not too exciting. Service was very good.

This food is disappointing to say the least.
I ordered Zhajiangmian and twice cooked pork. This is what I got.

Zhajiangmian: Had ramen egg noodles, not correct at all. There is not bean sauce in this AT ALL. NOTHING IN THIS DISH IS REMOTELY CORRECT AT ALL. This is ramen noodles with ground pork in a salty, greasy gravy. I also got a broth on the side? Zhajiangmian never comes with broth. This would be like you asking for spaghetti and me giving you soba noodles, Alfredo sauce, and maybe some ground beef.

Twice Cooked Pork: What in the hell is this. It's literally tiny strips of pork drenched in a greasy sauce. Twice cooked pork is supposed to be thin and just a tad crispy, hence the TWICE COOKED. There are barely any Sichuan chilies in it. I counted two decimated strips.

I understand Chinese food is Americanized here. I can go for it when I want, but I wanted AUTHENTIC CHINESE. DO NOT use authentic names and then give me a crappy knockoff. You can't depend on your customers being culturally ignorant all the time. You're lying to your customers by peddling this.

    Never eating here again.

Atmosphere was nice. Service was also decent. But they fell short in a few areas that unfortunately have me rating this restaurant below average.
I ordered pho, which was good, but they didn't serve it with the traditional fresh herbs, or chili paste option, or chop sticks. Just some simple things that really bring that dish together that we're missing.
We also ordered an appetizer platter that they served missing items that they had listed on the menu. After mentioning it, they brought them, but they were poorly prepared (e.x. One of the two fried wonton was completely empty, the other, barely any filling at all).

Good is good, customer service is good. Place is REALLY dark no matter share time of day you go. Plenty of seating, weirdly they have something like a little stage where they say they have karaoke but I've never seen that happen. Spring rolls that come with the lunch meals are HUGE. Full bar  of course including sake. Been here quite a few times over the years

Yum! Great find for take out food. Delicious egg rolls, fried rice, mongolian pork, and hunan chicken. I even ordered pho. Looking forward to trying more here. Huge portion sizes and great prices. And my takeout order was ready super quickly. I'll definitely add this into my regular rotation.
